Earning opportunities for players on the World Snooker Tour have never been higher, with each ranking bracket earning significantly more in the 24/25 season than ever before.
Overall, £18,214,600 was paid out in prize money last term, compared to £14,248,617 in 23/24 and £11,288,470 in 22/23. This upward trend in winnings stems across all segments of the Johnstone's Paint World Rankings.
Prize Money Breakdown By Ranking Brackets (includes bonuses and high break prizes)
1-16 earned £10.2m compared to £7.9m in 2023/24.
17-32 earned £3.1m compared to £2.2m in 2023/24.
33-48 earned £1.7m compared to £1.3m in 2023/24.
49-64 earned £1.1m compared to £900k in 2023/24.
65-128 & Amateurs earned £2.1m compared to £1.8m in 2023/24
Top of the tree for the season was Judd Trump, who pocketed a mouth-watering record high of £1,680,600 million for the campaign. There were five players who earned over £700,000, nine players earning over £500,000 and 23 players earning over £200,000. All of these are new records.

This, in turn, will help us achieve our vision for the sport."
