Multiple billiards World Champion Advani last appeared as a professional back in 2014, but is seeking a return to the tour after 11 years away. He top scored with 69 in today's win and now plays China's Luo Zetao, who beat Muhammad Khan 4-0.
Babar Masih of Pakistan scored a shock 4-0 win over former Welsh Open semi-finalist Tian Pengfei. His next opponent is ex World Snooker Tour player Peng Yisong.
Malaysia's top player Rory Thor earned a last 16 slot by beating Chen Ruifu 4-0. Thor now faces fellow former professional Ma Hailong, who won 4-2 against Liu Yang.
