Big names advanced on the second day of Asia-Oceania Q School Event Two in Bangkok, with Pankaj Advani and Tian Pengfei among the top stars progressing.
Indian superstar Advani is bidding for a return to the World Snooker Tour, having not competed as a professional since 2014. The multiple billiards World Champion top scored with 111 in a 4-0 win over Nadeem Gull Shair. He now faces Thailand's Peemachol Kongkitchertchoo in the last 32.
Tian, who lost his tour card at the end of last season, fired in a 132 on his way to a 4-2 win over Muhammad Javaid. He now goes on to play Babar Masih.
There were also wins for former professionals Rory Thor, Peng Yisong, Manasawin Phetmalaikul and Soheil Vahedi.
