Mark Joyce compiled the fourth maximum break in the history of the WPBSA Q Tour during his Global Play-Off semi-final against Dylan Emery in Antalya, Türkiye.
Joyce will meet Steven Hallworth in the final on Thursday. Liam Highfield will face Iulian Boiko in the final of Playoff Two, while Florian Nuessle will take on Andres Petrov in the final of Playoff Three.
Joyce's moment of perfection came in the third frame when he trailed 2-0 in the best-of-eleven frame contest. The high-quality match had earlier seen Emery, an event winner on the Q Tour Europe series, hit a break of 120 in the opening frame.
Joyce’s achievement sees him become only the third player in Q Tour history to score a 147 break following China’s Zhao Xintong, who managed to do so in back-to-back events in Stockholm and Manchester, and Ukraine’s Iulian Boiko – who achieved the feat in Mons in January.

- Zhao Xintong – Q Tour Europe – Event 4 (Manchester, England)
