BetVictor's historic long-term affiliation with Matchroom Sport is set to continue into 2025/26 with title sponsorship of a range of snooker tournaments featuring the world’s greatest players.

BetVictor, the flagship betting brand of BVGroup,  has worked alongside the Matchroom Group for many years on prestigious sporting events and the partnership will go from strength to strength in the new season.

On the World Snooker Tour, BetVictor will sponsor the Home Nations Series, comprising the 2025 English Open in Brentwood in September, the 2025 Northern Ireland Open in Belfast in October, the 2025 Scottish Open in Edinburgh in December, and the 2026 Welsh Open in Llandudno in February.

Once again, the leading money winner across these four events will earn the £150,000 BetVictor Bonus. Throughout the series, players strive to climb the BetVictor rankings as the top star at the end of the Welsh Open will bank the huge bonus.

Neil Robertson landed the bonus in 2024/25, following success in previous seasons for Judd Trump, John Higgins and Robert Milkins.

BetVictor will also sponsor the Championship League Snooker, the first ranking event of the 2025/26 season, as well as the Championship League Snooker invitation event, promoted by Matchroom Multi-Sport.

WST Chairman Steve Dawson said: “We are delighted to continue this long-term partnership with BetVictor, particularly as they place the highest priority on having fun in a responsible way on their platforms.

“The Home Nations Series events go from strength to strength and always produce great champions, with Neil Robertson, Kyren Wilson, Mark Selby and China’s rising star Lei Peifan lifting the silverware last season. And the BetVictor Bonus creates an exciting storyline for fans to follow throughout the season, as every pound won across all four events counts towards the race. Last season there were no fewer than 16 in with a chance of winning the bonus going into the last tournament!

“It’s exciting to work with the BetVictor team as we continue to find innovative ways of engaging with fans and bringing snooker to every corner of the globe.”

Matchroom Multi Sport CEO Emily Frazer said: "We’re proud to be extending our longstanding relationship with BetVictor, whose commitment to innovation and integrity has made them one of the most recognisable names in sport sponsorship. Their continued investment into snooker — both across the World Snooker Tour and through Matchroom events like the Championship League — plays a huge role in driving the sport forward and creating compelling narratives that fans can follow all season long."

Sam Boswell, Head of Sponsorship for BetVictor, added: “All of us at BetVictor are delighted to continue our fantastic relationship with Matchroom as once again we will be supporting the Home Nations and Championship League events. The game of Snooker continues to excite existing fans and create new ones across the globe. Our brand has been a long-standing part of these events, and we can't wait to see what new stories play out and want to wish all the competing players the best of luck. We know how popular our Bonus Series has been in recent years with players and look forward to once again awarding the £150,000 prize to whoever comes out on top of the BetVictor rankings.”
