With one of snooker's best ever deciding frame clearances, Trump edged out Mark Williams 10-9 in the final in Riyadh to earn the £500,000 top prize. That matched the biggest pay-day of Trump's career, equalling his 2019 World Championship triumph.

Having previously been level with Mark Allen at the top of the official list, Trump is now well clear of Kyren Wilson, who lost in the last 16. Allen, beaten in the last 32, slips to third. Williams earned £200,000 as runner-up and he jumps from ninth to sixth.

China's Si Jiahui reached the semi-finals, earning £100,000 to match his biggest cheque, and he leaps into the top 16 for the first time in his career, climbing from 22nd to 13th. Xiao Guodong is up from 35th to 29th following a run to the quarter-finals, while Jimmy Robertson reached the same stage and he's up from 52nd to 38th.

Trump is also now well clear at the top of the one-year list with a total of £576,000 which ensures his place at all three events in the 2025 Players Series. As usual, the top 32 will qualify for the World Grand Prix, then the top 16 will head to the Players Championship in Telford and the top 12 will progress to the Tour Championship in Manchester. Williams is second, followed by Wilson then Riyadh semi-finalist Shaun Murphy.

On the all-time list of ranking event winners, Trump goes ahead of Steve Davis with 29.

Trump Chasing Top Three

There are six counting events to go in the Race to the Masters and Si is up to 13th and now in line for an Alexandra Palace debut. Barry Hawkins is 16th but there are five players within £40,000 so it's all to play for over the coming tournaments.

Trump heads the 2024/25 century breaks tally with 17, ahead of Williams on 16 and Murphy on 14. The first player to reach 100 centuries this season will earn a £100,000 bonus. In the all time list, Trump is on 997 tons, just behind John Higgins 998, so both will be aiming to reach the 1,000 milestone during the BetVictor English Open which starts this Thursday.
