World Snooker Tour’s cumulative TV audience in the UK for the 2023/24 season was over 100 million.

The figure across the season of 100.7 million represented a 10% increase on the 2022/23 total of 91.5 million.

Similarly across Pan-Europe, the total reach for the season was 82.2 million, a jump of 16% compared to the 2022/23 tally of 70.9 million.

The 2024 Cazoo World Championship, won by Kyren Wilson, was 6% up on 2023 in terms of the average live audience across BBC and Eurosport.

WST’s Chief Marketing and Communications Manager Tom Rowell said: “The 2023/24 season was our most successful ever in terms of TV audiences, digital growth and live attendance. We’re now building for 2024/25, with exciting new events added to the calendar and we are confident of smashing records again in all areas. There has never been a better time for fans to follow snooker and we are delighted to see our audiences growing across the globe.”
