  • Milkins made his World Championship debut back in 2002 and scored a victory over Fergal O’Brien in the last 32. He had an eight-year absence from the final stages of the event between 2005 and 2013, but is now set for his tenth appearance. Milkins’ two best results in Sheffield have both come against Neil Robertson. He stunned the Australian with famous victories in 2013 and 2018.

    Pre Tournament Form

  • The Milkman has struggled this season off the back of a career best campaign in 22/23. A 6-5 win over Shaun Murphy at the Shanghai Masters earned him a quarter-final slot, but he lost out to World Champion Luca Brecel. He’s failed to go beyond the last 16 in ranking events, having bowed out at that stage at the UK Championship and the Welsh Open.

Milkins has scored some big wins at the Theatre of Dreams, but having never made it beyond the second round, he will need to find form at the right time to do it this year.

    Career Highlight

  • Welsh Open Champion

Milkins' finest hour thus far came at last season's BetVictor Welsh Open. He scored the most significant triumph of his 27 year professional journey with a 9-7 defeat of Shaun Murphy in the final to pick up the Ray Reardon Trophy. As well as the £80,000 top prize, it also saw him win the BetVictor Series and scoop an additional £150,000 bonus.
