Bio

Donaldson won his first professional title in the invitational Championship League in Leicester in 2020, overcoming an illness delay during his group final and going on to emerge from a strong field as the champion on his debut. The Scot was one frame away from reaching the 2018 Gibraltar Open final, on one of his four ranking semi-final appearances to date. Donaldson, who has twice qualified for the Crucible, enjoyed a consistent run of form in early 2020 which included knocking Ding Junhui out of three tournaments in three weeks.
