Bio
Having only taken up snooker at 14 when hopes of a career in football were dashed, Hill completed an astonishingly rapid rise to professional status within just four years, and in his second tournament the Irishman knocked out Ronnie O’Sullivan on his way to the last 16 of the European Masters. Hill lost his card after two years but immediately won it back at Q School, and soon claimed another notable win by defeating Judd Trump in the Northern Ireland Open. He reached his first ranking quarter-final at the 2023 Wuhan Open and second at the 2025 German Masters.
