Bio

China has produced a series of outstanding players in recent years and Gong looks to have the potential to follow that tradition. Competing as a wild card at the 2023 Wuhan Open, he notched up a superb victory over Jordan Brown. The following year he reached the final of the WSF Junior Championship, denied the title by Bulcsu Revesz, but Gong's performances on the CBSA Tour in China were enough to earn him a place on the World Snooker Tour at the age of just 17.
