Bio

An ever-present on the tour since 1992, Perry had lost two ranking finals before at last winning one, taking the last four frames to beat Mark Williams in a decider at the 2015 Players Tour Championship Grand Final in Bangkok. After a wait of almost seven years he landed the Welsh Open in 2022, which at 47 made him one of the oldest ever ranking tournament winners. A former top eight player, Perry was runner-up at The Masters in 2017, and lost a close World Championship semi-final to Ali Carter in 2008.
