A two-time Malaysian national champion, Kok Leong Lim earned a chance to play on the World Snooker Tour for the first time by coming through Asia-Oceania Q School in 2024. He beat China's Gao Yang 4-3 in the final round to secure a place on the tour, where he will join countryman Rory Thor in competing at the highest level.
