Bio

Part of the strong Leicester contingent on the tour, Ford won two minor ranking titles in the early 2010s, and reached his first full ranking final at the 2016 Paul Hunter Classic where he lost to Mark Selby. He finished runner-up twice more in 2023, to Ali Carter at the German Masters and Zhang Anda at the International Championship, but the latter performance made him a top 16 player for the first time, 22 years after his professional debut. He then went on to land his first ranking title at the 2024 Shoot Out on home territory in Leicester. Ford is one the most prolific maximum makers in snooker history, with five professional 147 breaks to his name.
