Bio

One of Britain’s best-loved sportsmen, White won the 1984 Masters and later that year reached the first of his six World Championship finals. Although he has not won the game’s ultimate event, he achieved what he regards as his career highlight by landing the UK Championship in 1992, followed by a wait of more than 11 years before the next and most recent of his ten ranking titles. In the early months of 2023 he made it to the last 16 of two ranking tournaments at the age of 60, including a win over Judd Trump in the WST Classic.
