Bio

One of the increasing number of professional players born in the 21st Century, He was World Under-18 champion in 2018 and beat Gary Wilson in a world ranking event the same year. After earning his first tour card at the Asia-Oceania Q School in 2023, He made a phenomenal start to his professional career by reaching at least the last 16 in three of his first four tournaments, with his best run coming in only his second event when he was a quarter-finalist at the British Open. That set him on course to be named Rookie of the Year at the end of his debut season.

2018 Competes as a wild card at the International Championship and beats Gary Wilson 6-1 before losing to Zhou Yuelong.
2021 Wins the Haining Open (non ranking event) in China.
2023 Earns a place on the World Snooker Tour for the first time by coming through Asia-Oceania Q School. In the final round he comes from 3-1 down to beat Wang Yuchen 4-3 to earn a two-year tour card. Reaches the quarter-finals of the British Open before losing to Hossein Vafaei.
2024 Named Rookie of the Year at the end of a superb debut season on tour.
