Bio
Born in Leeds to Chinese parents, Lam turned professional in 2015, and reached the last 16 of the Gibraltar Open during his second season. After being relegated in 2019, Lam regained his place on the tour after three years, and in his first season back he enjoyed his best World Championship performance to date, falling just two frames short of a place in the final qualifying round. During a strong start to the 2023/24 season, Lam reached his first ranking event quarter-final at the Scottish Open, his run ended by Noppon Saengkham.
